Janet & Michael ~ Engagement Session

I finished up editing this session yesterday before enjoying some summer fun with my little girls! We took a bike ride then they played on the slip-n-slide with their friends while I did some overdue yard work with their mommy (thanks for your help, Naomi! You're my girl!). I got some much needed vitamin D but really should have used a little higher SPF...ooopsie!

I had a blast with this couple last weekend in their engagement shoot! They chose this unique location at the Seattle waterfront and we got some great shots!

The weather was very warm and I was a little worried it would be a little too "nice". Luckily a cool breeze came in and brought some beautiful clouds to help with our photo shoot:)
Thanks, big guy in the sky!

There were some very funky sculptures to pose with! Janet had some really great ideas of her own, which made the session rock! Can't wait for the wedding day!

Album Choices!

So, I have been getting lots of emails and consultations regarding my Album Choices lately! It just dawned on me that a few photos might help! There are so many different styles to choose from! All of our albums are custom designed to fit your needs and pocket book! So let me know what style of album you are interested in and we can go over detailed options together!

I have started carrying a fabulous new album from Italy, that I absolutely love to make! It is the ever-so-popular Flush Mount Art Book, with a TON options to choose from... from album covers (leather, metallic, transparent, soft silk, etc.) to paper style (lamination, photographic paper, metallic paper, textured, smooth, etc.) to layout design!

Your Art Book can be as large as 16x20 or as small as 4x4 and they will last a lifetime! There is no better way to display your images! If your main objective is to take home the perfect album with the perfect images of your wedding day, this is the album for you. You may just have to feel this work of art in your little hands,
and imagine YOUR wedding displayed in a book like this!

If the flush mount album is not your style, we also have the traditional mount, and hand mount albums!

These come in top-of-the-line leather covers with choices of color, cut-outs, and page number! These books will also live a long life and are ordered locally!

If your style is more casual, with a more casual budget, you will love our hip CoffeeTable Albums. You have the choice of page number and book size. These books are great to have out...on, well, a coffee table! The pages are magazine style, and you can choose your album cover style (cloth, image cover, or sleeve cover).

The album possibilities seem to be endless and I would be more than happy to lug my collection on over to meet with you over coffee! Let me know how I can help you create the album of your dreams!

Joe & Sarah ~ Wedding Images ~ On the Lake

This couple had so many wonderful images from their wedding day!
I just had to post more of my faves!

Sarah was a little nervous about actually getting in to a little row boat in the middle of her wedding day, and I don't blame her!

Thankfully, she decided it was worth the risk.
(OK, so I begged!)

Joseph did a super-duper job controlling the boat and they both had a great time paddling around the lake. It was really a romantic adventure!

Here are just a FEW of my favorite shots from the day (with more to come). Thank you guys for being so willing to try my funky ideas! You rock!

Jesse & Katie's Wedding Day

What a great day for a wedding in downtown Seattle! The church was gorgeous, and the wedding party couldn't have been more entertaining! I laughed so much that day!

Katie was such a classic beauty...I mean look at her!

I was soo impressed by this couple's dance moves! They got skills! I think they must have taken some lessons...JEALOUS! I could never get my husband to learn to dance like that! Guess I'm stuck with the Sprinkler and the Running Man! So if you ask me to dance at your wedding, don't say I didn't warn you!!!

Congratulations Katie and Jesse! Thanks for giving me the blessing of sharing one of the most memorable days of your lives!

Changes!

You may have noticed that my Blog has changed, what do you think?
Things are changing a little with the addition of a Graphic Designer on my team! I love her cool style and look forward to many new designs! I will no longer have to carry the load of designing my own templates, album pages (yessssss!), product logos and watermarks (which I have not done up until now! woops, shame on me!). Stay tuned for posts of our work together!! I am sure you will love her designs as much as I do!
Not to mention the editing help! I don't know how I will survive without my editors! I have tried to keep up, but with everything going on, it's just getting to be too much for one person!
I am also training a few new photographers for Trala Studios (a division of Heather Lynn Photographie) which will be taking jobs by the end of this year! If you are interested in showing off your photography skills, let me know and we will set up an interview! Training sessions are going on now! We have so much fun; who could want a better job?!

PR Shoot with Angie

Today I had a great time photographing this beautiful lady! She is the owner of Bee Bops & Lollipops and we have been working very closely together lately! With the Grand opening of her new shop in Snohomish, Angie needed some PR photos for all of the exciting new changes underway! Angela is simply gorgeous, inside and out!

We had a few PR shots done together, shot by my WONDERFUL photographer, Naomi! Naomi is in training for TraLa Studios
(a division of Heather Lynn Photographie)
and we couldn't be happier with her work!
Great shots, Naomi!
